Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning:
In addition to utilizing the latest and most efficient equipment, we put into practice sustainable energy techniques. Passive solar means that pumps or motors are not involved. The energy absorbed is free and the operation is silent. Passive solar designs minimize or avoid economic and environmental costs of heating a house. Solar designs use the sun while it shines to heat the house and store the heat at night. Even if your house uses a standard heating system, it can be augmented by passive solar features. These include energy absorbant surfaces, a thermal mass to store the heat and insulation. These elements work in the opposite direction as well. A cooled off thermal mass, shaded and insulated, keeps the house cooler, reducing the need to run air conditioners. Electrical System: Plumbing (water well, septic system)
